Digital Mole Mapping
Skin Cancer Detection and Prevention
Digital mole mapping is the process of analyzing pigmented skin lesions using a computer system designed to look for signs of melanoma. This works by photographing moles and measuring their change over time with advanced computer software that allows for earlier detection of potential skin cancers significantly earlier than other methods. This greatly increases the chance of successful treatment on any melanoma cells that are discovered. How it Works
The software analyzes the moles for characteristics such as color and symmetry and other warning signs of potential Melanoma. Ultimately, your physician will decide if a biopsy is warranted. Please call us for a consultation.
