Wendy L. Hoffman, M.D.Dr. Hoffman is a native Southern Californian, having attended high school at the prestigious Westlake School. She subsequently graduated with honors from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Art History in 1987. Her medical degree was obtained at USC in 1991 where she graduated as a Dean’s Scholar. Dr. Hoffman completed her Internal Medicine residency in 1994 and then continued her training at UC Irvine in Dermatology, which she finished in 1997. Dr. Hoffman is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Dermatology. She entered private practice after finishing her Dermatology resident and presently works with four other outstanding associates at Dermatology Associates Medical Group in Beverly Hills.
Dr. Hoffman believes in a personalized hands-on approach to patient care and is able to use her experience as an internist to provide skin care that reflects evaluation and therapeutic options for the entire body. She specializes in treatment of hair, skin and nails in both adults and children and she is a firm believer in regular skin checks in order to detect abnormalities early before they spread. Dr. Hoffman is also a dermatologic surgeon specializing in Moh’s micrographic surgery, which allows for complete and safe removal of skin cancer, on areas of the body such as the face. She also offers many cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Fillers, chemical peels, sclerotherapy and a variety of laser procedures to improve the appearance of the skin.
She is a member of multiple associations including the American Medical Association, American Academy of Dermatology, Los Angeles County Medical Association. Finally, as a member of the Cedar-Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Hoffman enjoys teaching residents and sharing her dermatologic experience with them.
