Injectable Gel for Targeting Age-Related Volume Loss
This non-surgical filler targets sagging skin and volume loss in the cheek area and was the first FDA-approved injectable gel for adding instant volume to the cheeks. Juvéderm Voluma XC uses the same naturally occurring hyaluronic acid substance found in the original Juvéderm formula.
Results are almost instantaneous and can last up to two years with optimal treatment. Side effects and downtime are minimal, with some patients experiencing tenderness, redness, or swelling at the injection site. Most patients can return to normal activities within 24 hours of treatment.
