Kybella
Submental fullness is a common aesthetic condition caused by weight gain, genetics, or aging. KYBELLA® is a non-human, non-animal formulation of deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body. Using this natural acid to break down and absorb fat, KYBELLA® causes the destruction of adipocytes (fat cells). Once destroyed, the fat cells cannot store fat.
KYBELLA® is an in-office treatment that typically takes 15-20 minutes. Treatments are typically spaced 6 weeks apart and most studies have shown visible results after two to four treatment sessions.
